How this website handles information about the people who visit it.

Who we are
This site is operated by Momiji Omakase Co., Ltd., The Taste, 2nd floor, Soi Thonglor 11, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110. It covers both Momiji Omakase and Roji.
For anything in this policy, write to momijiomakase@gmail.com or call +66 82 823 9969.
What this policy covers
This website only. Booking a table takes you to Chope, and messaging us takes you to LINE or WhatsApp — those are run by other companies under their own privacy policies. Anything that happens once you are in the restaurant is not covered here either.
What we ask you for
Nothing. There is no contact form, no account to create, no newsletter sign-up and no payment taken on this site. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number anywhere on these pages.
Cookies and measurement
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read, and Google Ads to measure whether our advertising reaches anyone and to show ads to people who have visited before.
Neither runs until you accept. When you first arrive, a bar at the foot of the page asks. Until you choose Accept, no analytics or advertising cookies are stored and no advertising identifiers are sent. If you choose Decline, or simply ignore the bar, it stays that way.
If you accept, these are set:
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells returning visits apart so visitor counts are not inflated. | 2 years |
| _ga_4YDJ6RPXXP | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of the individual visit. | 2 years |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Records that an ad was clicked, so a later visit can be attributed to it. | 3 months |
We also store one item in your browser called
momiji-consent,
which records your answer so you are not asked on every page. It stays
on your device, and is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Changing your mind
You can change your answer at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it:
Your current choice is shown here.
Turning them off stops any further collection. To remove cookies already stored, clear site data for this website in your browser settings.
Other companies this site loads
Some parts of the page come from other companies' servers. When your browser fetches them it reveals your IP address and basic device information to that company, and this happens regardless of your cookie choice because it is how the page is built:
- Google Fonts — the typefaces the site is set in.
- Google Maps — the maps on the Contact and Roji pages.
- Google Tag Manager — delivers the measurement code described above.
- Netlify — hosts the site, and keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and reliability.
Google's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy. Links out to Chope, LINE, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok take you to those services, where their own policies apply.
Your rights
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act — and the GDPR if you are in the EU or UK — you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is used, or withdraw consent you have given. Write to momijiomakase@gmail.com and we will respond.
In practice this site collects very little: if you have never accepted cookies, there is unlikely to be anything held about you at all.
Changes to this policy
If this changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
